I loved Sharon's book, "The Healer's Legacy", which is a YA (young adult) book, so I was excited to buy this book (a middle school book) for my nine year old nephew. I purchased the book for him in paperback form but wanted to read the story myself, so I bought another one in the Kindle format for myself.I really had a fabulous time accompanying Stefani and Robbie on their adventure in another world where strange and wonderful creatures exist, where they make friends, battle enemies and learn life lessons along the way. Sharon is a terrific story teller and I look forward to her next book!

The Nelig Stones eBook Sharon Skinner Kieth Decesare Reviews
My 10-year-old just finished this book in two lazy summer afternoons. He identified most strongly with the character of Robbie, and enjoyed reading about his adventures with (mildly scary) Dragons, Lightwings, and other creatures. I was hoping to find a sequel, but it appears Ms. Skinner has not written one yet. Hopefully one will be forthcoming.
Okay, not only does Stefani's and Robbie's journey begin in one of my favorite places, Papago Park, but did I mention it has dragons?!
The two kids are joined by a group of intriguing characters that both protect, and engulf them in a spate of sticky situations. And it's not just those dragons that they have to worry about—there's Fireworms too! Oh, and there are the Nelig Stones. Everybody and every 'thing' is after these Stones. What's so important about a few rocks? If you only knew!
